Indian mobile phone maker Karbonn will soon be launching its 7 inch SmartTab A1 tablet for the Indian market. The new tablet will feature the new Android 4.0 operating system with specs similar to that of the Micromax Funtab.
The Indian market has been these days flooded with plenty of tablets from HCL, Micromax, Micromax and iBerry. Now Karbonn is the next Indian mobile phone manufacturer to launch its own SmartTab A1 tablet.
The spokesperson from the company said that the tablet is currently being given away to the players winning the Karbonn Kamal Catches in the ongoing IPL 5 matches. The tablet will be launched for the consumers in the next ten days.
Those who cannot wait can even pre-book the tablet. Talking about the features, the tablet comes with 7 inch capacitive screen and is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 3700 mAh battery. The SmartTab A1 will also come with a mini HDMI port so that it can be connected to the TV. The tablet also has a micro SD card slot for storage of up to 32 GB along with a USB port which can be used for a 3G USB dongle. The device has a 2 megapixel camera along with 3D gravity censor for better gaming.
