Nokia’s 302 from the Asha series is now available in the Indian market through the popular online retailers Flipkart.com and Letsbuy.com. The Finnish mobile maker unveiled the new Nokia Asha 302 at the Mobile World Congress event held earlier this year.
The new offering from the Asha series is perfect for the youngsters and features a QWERTY keypad for input and a 2.4 inch TFT LCD screen. The device is a perfect handset for the youngsters as is has already has social networking and IM integration along with Microsoft Exchange.
The new Asha 302 is powered by a 1GHz processor and offers Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity along with USB on the go support. With a 1,320 battery, it promises more than 707 hours of standby time, 9 hours of talk time and 50 hours of music play.
The prospective buyers can purchase the device in white, grey or red colours. In terms of the pricing of the device, the makers can face some criticism as the buyers might be a bit sceptical to shell out Rs. 6000 for a smartphone with just a QWERTY keypad, especially in a situation when there are Android phones in the market available just for Rs. 1,000.
