Japan based motor company Yamaha Motors, has on May 1, 2012 launched the new variants of FZ-S, FZ and Fazer motorcycles for the Indian market. The new variants by Yamaha have been priced between Rs. 69, 250 and Rs. 76,380, ex showroom price Delhi.
The company is offering the new variants in vibrant colours, schemes and graphics along with features like longer and wider pillion seat. During the launch event, Yamaha Motor India CEO and MD Hiroyuki Suzuki said, “The launch of new variants in FZ series is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our bikes in this series.”
The new bike has been powered by a 150cc engine and also sports a large and wide rear fender as a prevention measure from mud splash. The new bike also has a new chain protector so that no loose clothing can get stuck on it.
So as to promote the new FZ series the company has put together a new promotional strategy and will follow a 360 degree approach which will cover all the elements of the promotion like the TV, web, print and others. The company will also be utilizing its brand ambassador John Abraham, who will be seen taking the centre stage for the promotional activities.
