Japanese smartphone manufacturing giant Sony Mobile India is now all set to launch its another Android smartphone the ‘Xperia Sola’ in the Indian market. Sony announced the launch of the smartphone on its official Facebook page.

Till now the manufacturer is yet to unveil the exact pricing or the availability of the handset. But some of the online retailers have revealed the pricing of the new handset.

Online retailer FlipKart.com has suggested that the new Xperia Sola will be priced at Rs. 19,999. While another retailer Infibeam said that the hand set will be available on May 18 with an expected price of Rs. 22,999.

The Xperia Sola was announced by the company in the month of March and comes with a unique floating touch technology. The new technology allows the users to browse the web by hovering their finger above the screen so its acts like a moving cursor, without even touching the display. The features of the Sola, include a 3.7 inch Reality display, 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus, 8 GB internal memory, 3D surround sound, xLoud, NFC, DLNA, GPS, MTP and is powered by Android 2.3, 1 GHz dual core processor from ST Ericsson.
