Mobile phone enthusiasts in India are already excited about the pricing of the upcoming PureView 808 in the country. Meanwhile, the price of the smartphone, which is supposed to be launched this month, has been leaked on Nokia India Store.
The information has been leaked out from the website source code, which has mentioned that the 41 mega pixel camera phone could be priced at Rs.29,999 in the Indian market. But till now the company has not yet given any confirmation on the pricing.
But the latest information is definitely in line with the earlier statement of Nokia, which said that it would have a high end pricing. The PureView 808 was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress and features, 1.3 GHz single core processor, 512 MB RAM, 16 GB on-board memory which can be expandable through micro SD cards.
The main feature of the smartphone is its 41 mega pixel camera sensor which has been developed after years of research and also uses an interpolation technique to pack 5 pixels in to one. The recent pricing of the smartphone might be a relief for the phone enthusiasts, as the device has been listed on Nokia’s Italy website on a pre-order for over Rs. 40,000.
