Mobile phone manufacturing giant HTC is no all set to bring its One S smartphone for the Indian market. The online retailer, The Mobile Store has already put the smartphone up for pre-order with a price tag of Rs. 33, 000 with an availability date of June 8, 2012.

The new One S is said to be as powerful as the HTC One X. The One S was left out when the company announced its One Series. Manu Seth, the country head of marketing for HTC India in the first half of March said, the company will be launching Android Ice Cream Sandwich based smartphones, One X, One V and One S during the first week of April for the most lucrative Indian market.

But the company only launched the One X and One V on April 2 and then no word was spoken about the launch of One S for the Indian market. But now the phone is all set to hit the Indian stores and with the features of the phone surfaced online, it looks like an interesting device.

The new One S has a better battery life than the One X with a competitive price tag. The smartphone will be powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor and will feature 8 mega pixel camera, with LED flash and BSI sensor.
