In the flourishing ad competitive Indian market, Intex Technologies have launched iTab on May 29, 2012. The new tablet is powered by Gingerbread Android and has been priced at Rs. 8,990.

In a special offer by the consumers, the tablet is also available in a special package with an Intex 3G data card, which will be available at Rs. 11,000. The new iTab has an 8 inch 5 point multi touch capacitive display, 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1 GB DDR3 RAM, Wi-Fi connectivity, 3G connectivity through USB dongle, 8 GB of built in storage and GPS connectivity.

The tablet has been powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and the company claims that it deliver up to 6 hours of battery back up. Some of the other features of the tablet include storage with micro SD card that can be extended up to 32 GB, USB and micro USB ports, front facing VGA camera, microphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, 360 degree G sensor.

The tablet has also been pre-loaded with applications like document viewer, Adobe Reader, battery saver, Google maps, and other popular games like Angry Birds, Paper Toss, Solitaire, Talking Tom, etc. The iTab is now available across various authorised dealers in the country.
