After a long wait, Nokia’s much awaited 41 mega pixel camera phone PureView 808 has finally been put on sale in the Indian market. The Finnish manufacturer has priced the smartphone at Rs. 29,999 in India.

The handset is now available at the Nokia India official store. The main feature of the smartphone is its massive 41 mega pixel camera sensor.

The other features of the phone include, 4 inch 360 X 640 pixel AMOLED display and 16 GB inbuilt memory. The smartphone has been powered by a 1.3 GHz processor with Nokia’s Belle Operating System.

The PureView also includes full HD 1080 p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and Nokia Rick Recording. The new Rich Recording enables the user to record audios as CD like level of quality, which was earlier not possible with the external microphones. At present the PureView 808 is only available in black colour and till not there is no word about the other colour options from the company. Earleir there were many speculations about the pricing of the smartphone on the internet. The Nokia PureView 808 is a result of several years of research, which has now been put on retail sale.
