Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Spice Mobile is now all set to launch a series of Android phones with screen sizes ranging from 2.8 inches to 5 inches that will cost between the range of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 15,000. Spice has called the new range as Android ICS ready range.

The new phones will be powered by Android 2.3 operating system, which can be upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS. The company has assured that it will be launching at least one of the smartphones from the range in the upcoming 15 days.

The new smartphones from Spice will have added security features, pre-loaded anti-virus and will also be having GPS/AGPS, Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi tethering along with dual SIM functionality with a combination of 3G + 2G. The spokesperson of the company refused to reveal more details of the upcoming phones.

Even the names or the models numbers of the phones have not been revealed. Spice is always known for its Android offerings at reasonable prices. For instance, the Spice Mi-410 became very popular when it as launched in the market. The Spice phones are thus known for their tremendous value and has also made the other companies stand up and take notice.
