Japan based company Panasonic Corp will be delivering the largest supply of audio visual equipment for any Olympic games in the history of the company. The company will be supplying the equipment to support the London 2012 Olympic Games to be held in the month of July and August.
With the help of its full high definition line up, Panasonic will be providing a strong support in the operation of the world’s largest sporting event at the broadcast sites, sporting venues and homes in corporation with the International Olympic Committee, the London Organising committee of Olympic and Paralympic games and the Olympic Broadcasting Services London. Panasonic will also be presenting the first ever 3D Olympic Games to homes based on the 3D technical partnership with the IOC and the Olympic Broadcasting Services.
The video signals of the London 2012 Olympic Games distributed by the International Broadcasting Centre to the broadcasters of each country, will be in HD format. Even the opening and the closing ceremonies and events which will be displayed on the large screens in the venue, will be distributed in HD video.
For the opening ceremony, the world’s smallest and the lightest 20,000 lumens projectors will be installed.
