American based company ViewSonic is all set to launch its 22 inch tablet for the Indian market. The upcoming tablet will have a dual core 1 GHz processor along with several top end features.
The company said that the new tablet which is called the Android Smart Display VCD22, will be unveiled at the Computex Event in Taiwan next week. ViewSonic is yet to give any details of the product at the time of announcement.
Sources from the company on the condition of anonymity revealed that the new tablet will be based on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will come with a TI OMAP 4 series DUAL Core 1 GHz Processor. The new Android tablet will have a 21.5 inch capacitive screen with 1920 X 1080 full HD resolution with a 5 milli second response time.
Some other features of the tablet include HD video camera, 1.2 mega pixel camera and in terms of connectivity it will have a Viewsonic Smart Display, WI-Fi, Bluetooth V 2.1, HDMI Output, USB X 3 and will also connect to the DSL connection through RJ 45 port. For the memory, it can be expanded with micro SD slots. The tablets also have SRS Stereo speakers for good sound output.
