Michael Perschke, the director at Audi India during the launch of the Audi A4 in India expressed the car maker’s intention to launch the car in the country. The car was launched in India after a series of teasers, buzz, and requests from the fans of Audi on Facebook page.
The wait is finally over and the sport sedan has been launched in to the Indian market. The 2012 Audi S4 will be priced at Rs. 45.31 lakh ex-showroom price Maharashtra and will be available with the 3.0 TFSI badge.
The S 4 will be powered by a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine which delivers up to more than 335 PS power and 440 Nm of torque. The engine is accompanied by a seven speed S-tronic gearbox and will help the car sprint from 0 to 100km/h in less than five seconds.
The 2012 Audi S 4 3.0 TFSI goes on sale in the Indian market on June 4, 2012 and is available across 19 dealerships including the most recent one opened in Coimbatore, Nagpur, Delhi West and in Madhya Pradesh. Even in terms of price it is highly tempting and one of the best and quickest sports sedan in the country with its price point.
