Smartphone manufacturing giant HTC is all set to launch its new One S Android smartphone for the Indian market on June 15, 2012. The smartphone was supposed to be launched last week itself but the launch was delayed due to certain reasons.

At present the popular online store Infibeam has also started taking pre-orders for the device for jus Rs. 1,000. The new Smartphone from HTC is expected to be priced at Rs. 33,000.

The new HTC One S has been powered by Android 4.0 operating system along with a Snapdragon S 4 Krait processor with an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit. The features of the smartphone include a 4.3 inch display protected with Gorilla glass and is expected to be the thinnest smartphones in the market wi3th 7.8 mm metal body and 119.5 grams of total weight.

Some of the other features of the HTC One S includes 8 mega pixel camera with autofocus rear camera along with LED flash and a VGA front camera. The smartphone will also have a 16 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM memory. The connectivity features of the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, DLNA functionality and 3 G cellular connectivity.
