Mobile phone manufacturing giant Nokia has launched its much awaited 41 Mega Pixel phone Nokia PurView 808 in the Indian market. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 33, 899 and has been in news since its launch in the global market.
The Nokia PureView808 even before its launch has been in the news for its imaging capabilities. The new smartphone from Nokia has a 41 megapixel sensor and Full HD video recording capability at 1080p resolution.
The PureView 808 also has the Dolby headphones which can turn any headphone in to a stereophonic marvel for theatre like audio experience. The smartphone has been powered by 1.3 Ghz processor, but has got just one drawback that it runs on the outdated Symbian platform.
Despite the launch of the revolutionary camera phone, Nokia is not looking forward to sell its N8 at a discounted price. The N8 is considered as the second best camera phone from the company’s portfolio. The phone also offers HDMI and DLNA outputs, NFC and WiFi technology, preloaded Nokia maps, turn by turn satnav for more than 100 countries and 16 GB of built in memory which can be expandable to 32 GB or 48 GB. The Nokia PureView 808 was first showcased at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year.
