Mobile phone manufacturer, HTC has launched its One S smartphone in the Indian market on June 18, 2012. The new smartphone is a part of company’s One series and is now available on various online shopping sites like Saholic for Rs. 33,000.
The new HTC One S has been powered by a dual core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor . The announcement of the S3 processor does not come as a surprise as the company had earlier announced that select markets will be getting the S3 instead of the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor.
The One S features 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch display with qHD resolution with a pixel density of 256 ppi. The device has the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system that has 1GB RAM and 16 GB of in-built memory.
The only drawback the device has that it does not have a micro SD card slot for storage expansion. The other features include, 8 mega pixel auto focus camera at the rear with LED flash and captures videos in 1080 p at 30 fps. The One S also has a front VGA camera and runs on standard 1650 mAh li-po battery and has beats audio integration like most HTV smartphones. The connectivity features of the phone include, 3G connectivity, stereo FM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
