Auto manufacturer, Renault is all set to launch its compact SUV Duster in the month of July. The company has already received 1,000 bookings for the vehicle so far. The Duster is the first real compact SUV from any global automaker to hit the Indian market.
The new Duster is expected to be priced at Rs. 7 lakh for the petrol version while the multi variant diesel would start at Rs. 8 lakh and Rs. 12 lakh for a fully loaded vehicle. The new Duster is one of the most awaited cars and will be power packed with all the features of a full sized SUV and will be available at the price of a basic sedan.
Till date the products of Renault include, Pulse hatchback, Fluence sedan and Koleos SUV. These products have received an average response from the Indian customers as it is still struggling to survive in front of the Logan brand.
The launch has been advanced from the festive period in the month of September-October and also plans to bring multiple variants to cater the diverse needs of the Indian market. Renault has also confirmed that the launch is pretty close and the new Duster will be a game changer for the French auto maker.
