Mobile phone manufacturer, HTC had announced its newest smartphone HTC Desire C in the month of May and has now launched it for the Indian market. The new Desire C is the latest offering from the company in the mid range with the latest Android operating system.

The One C has become the fifth smartphone from the Android 4.0 series has joined the other smartphones like One X, V, S and the dual SIM Desire V. The new HTC Desire C has been priced at Rs.14,999 which is quite a competitive price for the Indian buyers amidst the other smartphones.

The other features of the phone include, 3.5 inch HVGA 320 X 480 pixel resolution display, 600 MHz Qualcomm processor, same as that found in the HTC Explorer and Motorola Defy Mini XT320. The Desire C also has 5 mega pixel camera which can also record videos with VGA quality along woth LED flash, 4GB onboard storage, memory expandable with the help of a memory slot and 25 GB of cloud storage on Dropbox.

The connectivity features of the smartphone include Wi Fi, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB. The Desire C has a smaller 1230 mAh battery compared to the 1500 mAh on the One V.
