Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, Huawei has delayed the launch of its flagship phone Ascend D Quad again. The launch has been delayed as the company is facing some issues with its quad core processor.
The Ascend D Quad was unveiled at the MWC in the month of February. At that time the company claimed that it was the world’s fastest phone. Yu Chengdong, the CEO of consumer business group of Huawei said that the company is experiencing some problems with its quad core processor.
The Chinese website CNMO had quoted Chengdong saying that Huawei “has encountered some technical problems which caused the delays in production” and it’s “working hard to overcome them.” The Ascend D Quad features some impressive specifications but its late arrival will result in losing out hugely on the competitors like HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III and even the LG Optimus 4XHD which is expected to be launched soon.
Moreover, the mass production of the Huawei Ascend D Quad will begin only in the month of August. This means that it could be September by the time the smartphone hits the stores. Some of the prominent features of the phone include its camera quality, battery life and the screen size.
