The Indian market is flooded with tablets offered by various companies. But among them, its the iPad that dominates the segment, while rest of the tablets do not offer good quality and a good example is the Aakash tablet. Now however, we see the entry of yet another tablet PC – the Micromax Funbook.

The Micromax Funbook is a tablet which grabs the attention of the buyers and is also the slimmest budget Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet with the most reasonable pricing of Rs. 6,500.

The appearance of the tablet might not be much impressive but it looks compact and smart with a weight of 350 gms. This makes it light weight and can be carried anywhere conveniently.

The features of the Funbook include mini USB port, mini HDMI, headphones jack, micro SD slot and is also power packed with plenty of Micromax apps. The only drawback is that it does not have a rear facing camera and runs on an ARM Cortex A 8 1.2 GHz processor with Mali 00 GPU and 512 MB RAM.

Micromax has also tied up with some of the educational institutes to provide educational content on the Funbook. The Funbook might not be the fastest tablet but is definitely a good investment for a gadget which has decent specifications and a very usable interface at a very competitive price.
