Indian auto giant Mahindra and Mahindra has launched the CNG variant of its mini truck ‘Maxximo’ for the Indian market. The mini truck from Mahindra has been priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh ex showroom Delhi.
To promote the new vehicle, the company will be targeting the transporters and corporate segments. Vivek Nayer, the Senior Vice President of Mahindra and Mahindra while talking to the reporters said, “Mahindra is committed towards sustainable mobility and the environment. The launch of Maxximo CNG is one more step in that direction”.
While talking about the opportunity Nayer said, “Delhi NCR has benefited greatly from a policy thrust which leverages the potential of in expensive and clean fuel like CNG”. The vehicle is a two door mini truck and the company said that the launch is intended to augment customer base through its superior product offering.
While talking about the environment Vivek said that the company is sincerely committed towards sustainable mobility and the environment which is evident with the launch of the new Maxximo. Mahindra and Mahidnra has also confirmed that there will be no cut in the production as it is strictly in line with the demand arising in the market. The new Maxximo will be competing against the rival Tata Ace.
