Indian telecommunications company Micromax has launched its new dual SIM smarphone known as the Superfone Ninja 2 A56. The new device from the company is an upgraded version of the Superfone Ninja A50.

The launch date of the Ninja 2 A56 has not been announced but Micromax has revealed the specifications of the new device. The earlier model of the device had the voice assisted app known as ‘AISHA’.

The new device will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features 3.5 inch HVGA display and a 3 Mega Pixel camera with fixed focus, but does not have a front facing camera. The Superfone Ninja 2 A 56 is powered by an 800 MHz processor, 512 MB ROM with 256 MB RAM.

The smartphone has an expandable memory of 32 GB and a 1,400 mAh battery. The device has been priced at ₹5,999 for the Indian market. In terms of connectivity the smartphone supports Wi Fi and through the features of the voice commands it can open a map, search the web and even dial numbers. The phone also allows the users to update their status on the social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. The Superfone Ninja 2 A 56 also comes with a set of pre-installed apps.
