Indian auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra on July 4, 2012 announced the launch of its new Bolero Maxi Truck. The new truck is an addition to its pick up portfolio and has been priced at ₹4.08 ex showroom BS3 Karnataka for the standard version.
The new product from the company is a make over of the Bolero Maxi Truck and is powered by MDI engine. Senior officials from the auto manufacturer said that the truck comes with stylish looks, power steering options with better interiors.
The senior vice president of Sales and Customer care, automotive division of Mahindra & Mahindra, Arun Malhotra said that with the new power steering option the new truck will be able to cater to the needs of the standard operators as well as businessmen by offering them efficient cargo movement and driving comfort for the longest trips.
Malhotra added, “With a comprehensive portfolio of products we hope to further consolidate our leadership position in the commercial vehicle industry.” Mahindra and Mahindra on July 4, 2012 had also inaugurated a ₹100 crore research and development centre in Pune. This has become the company’s second and bolder attempt to take on the competition in the two wheeler industry. The company is also aiming to make its presence felt in every segment.
