Troubled Kingfisher Airlines, has finally started paying the salaries to its employees for the month of February. The spokesperson of the company said that the salaries have been paid to the staff including the pilots who recently threatened to go on strike.

On July 5, 2012 the banks told the airlines to come up with some concrete plans to improve its operations. At present the operations of the airlines are irregular and is reportedly defaulting on lease rentals of more than ₹1,000 crores. Even the lessors took back 34 aircrafts of the airlines. The meetings of the debtor and creditor have so far not yielded any result.
