World’s largest retailer Walmart is now slowly becoming popular in the Indian markets. Many of the grocery shops now prefer to buy products of a foreign brand offered by Walmart as they have lower price tags than the Indian brands.
They also contribute about 20 percent to their monthly sales of the grocery shops. Such brands are bought from the Best Price Modern Wholesale outlet which is run by Walmart’s joint venture Bharti Enterprises. As for now Walmart is not allowed to directly sell to Indian customers but its brands have now started sliding in to the Indian homes as it is a hit among the grocery shop owners.
