Japanese based company Nissan Motors on July 16, 2012 unveiled the new version of global compact car Nissan Note. The new vehicle was unveiled at the world premiere held at Osanbashi venue in Yokohama.
The company has claimed that the Note leads in the class in terms of fuel efficiency as well as emission levels. The new Note also boasts advanced engine technology, a light weight platform and improved aerodynamics.
The new hatchback from Nissan features Around View Monitor , which has been for the first time included in a small car. This helps in taking out the stress of reversing and parallel parking in tight spaces.
Nissan’s new Note has an eye catching exterior with a striking line known as the Squash line along with an aero dynamic body shape and a distinctive front grille. The hatchback also features distinctive headlamps, rear combination lamps to create a sense of dynamism and sophistication. The new Note also has a spacious interior, which is beyond the expectations in its class. The direct injection DIG-S engine helps in providing excellent fuel efficiency and delivers an average of 25.3 kmpl. The note was first launched in 2005 and has since then sold 940,000 units of the current Note.
