In some disappointing news for the HTC Desire HD users, the company has announced that it will not be providing the Ice Cream Sandwich update. So the question of Jelly Bean does not surface at all.
Canuck canetwork Telus Canada said that the Android 4.0 upgrade has been cancelled “due to poor device performance during testing.” So now the devices will be stuck on the same old Gingerbread version. Each version of Android is named alphabetically after a tasty treat. The GingerBread was introduced in the year 2010 while the 4.0 Android came a year later. But while the users are trying to get the Jelly Bean update, the rejection of Android 4.0 is definitely a disappointment.
