Consumer based company CavinKare has set up a manufacturing unit in Bhiwandi which is in the Thane district of the state of Maharashtra. The manufacturing unit has been opened for its brand ‘Garden’.
The company had acquired Garden in the year 2009. CavinKare has also invested about Rs. 80 crores for the plant and the capacity will be scaled up to 1,800 tonne from the current 1,200 tonne. CavinKare is known as a diversified FMCG major with the brands in personal care, dairy, food and beverages. The brand portfolio consists of shampoos like Chik, Nyle and Meera and fairness cream Fairever, deodorants and talcum powder.
