Tablet manufacturer, Pantel technologies has on July 24, 2012 launched its new tablet in the Indian market. The tablet is known as the T-Pad IS701C which is powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The device has been priced at Rs. 4,999 and the company has also assured that it will sell the device through the retail markets and also with the state run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Pantel has earlier launched three tablets in the country.

The prominent features of the tablet include seven inch display, 512 MB RAM , 4GB internal storage, Wi Fi connectivity and 3G USB dongle connectivity facility. The T-Pad also comes with host USB 2.0 port, micro USB port and a 0.3 mega pixel front camera.

Pantel has said that the tablet comes loaded with many applications including Facebook, Twitter, Skype and Angry Birds. Vijender Singh the managing director of Pantel Technologies said, “It gives me immense pleasure to announce the latest offering from our stable. We are committed to deliver an excellent user experience and aspire to bridge the digital divide which is so evident in our country. Our tablet is loaded with a variety of interesting features which are fine tuned to our consumers’ demands”. The T-Pad has been powered by Cortex A8 1Ghz processor and is available across the retail stores in India.
