Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki has confirmed on July 25, 2012 that it has run out of stock of the two best selling models Swift and DZire, which were produced at the Manesar plant, Haryana. But still the company has assured that it would continue to take bookings of the cars.
The Manesar plant is facing a lockout after the violence last week. Mayank Pareek, the Chief Operating Officer said that they have informed the dealers and customers about the current situation. This has surely shown the strength of the two brands. Pareek revealed that the Swift has a booking order of 55,000 units while DZire has 65,000 bookings.
