After the serial blasts which rocked the city of Pune, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that he would visit the blast site. The blasts were triggered on August 1, 2012 and Kumar will be visiting on August 4, 2012.

Shinde told the reporters that he would be visiting the city. The incident happened soon after Shinde took over as the Home Minister. Meanwhile the police has suspected that the Indian Mujehiddeen is emerging as the prime suspect but the investigators are looking at the other angles.

Four low intensity blasts took place on the busy Jangli Maharaj Road in Pune on Wednesday. Shinde on the same day was supposed to visit the city. Only one person has been injured in the incident who has been cleared by the police and is also allowed to leave the hospital.

The next day , Dayanand Patil a tailor was interrogated as the bag which he picked up outside an auditorium blew up. Patil’s wife was also questioned but the intelligent sources say that he has not the suspect. Four bombs were exploded and two others were diffused. The anti-terror Squad in Maharashtra believes that five to six people were involved in the conspiracy while two to three people planted the bombs.
