Tablet manufacturer, Lava is now all set to enter the budget tablet market in India. The company will be launching its Lava E-Tab Z7H tablet which will be priced at Rs. 5,499.
The new E-Tab by Lava has been powered by a 1.2 Ghz single core cortex A-8 processor, Mail 400 GPU and 512 MB RAM. The tab will be running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but there is no news if the company will be offering an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
In terms of capacity, the tablet has 4GB internal memory which can be expandable to 32 GB through micro SD card. The other features of the device include, 7 inch display with a resolution of 480X800 megapixels, 0.5 front facing camera, 2,800 mAh battery. The connectivity features of the phone include Wi Fi, 3G connectivity through USB dongles.
The tablet has been pre-loaded with applications like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TOI, Nimbuzz, Fusion App, 14 pre-loaded books, Flyte Flipkart Music App and a few pre-loaded movies. At present the device is available at the online shopping site Flipkart.com for pre-order and the estimated release date in mentioned as the second week of August, 2012. The tablet will be competing in the market against the other devices like Zync Z990, Micromax FunBook and Auxus Ax02.
