The three day fast at the Ramlila Maidan by Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba will come to an end today on August 11, 2012. Ramdev had launched the protests against the black money and a host of other issues.
On August 10, 2012 The yoga guru asked the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to demonstrate ‘political honesty and political will’ in bringing back the black money in to the country which have been stashed away in foreign bank accounts and can be spent on empowering the people.
Ramdev also claimed that the terrorism and Naxalism in the country can also be tackled if the black money is brought back. The yoga guru also said that they do not want them to disclose the name of the people but to disclose the amount at least.
Ramdev also claimed that India has the ability to become a super power in the world and the army can also become more powerful. than those in China and US. While addressing at the Ramlila ground Ramdev said, “We need an honest Prime Minister. I want the current Prime Minister to demonstrate his political honesty and political will on the issue of blackmoney”. The yoga guru ahs also demanded that the government has to spell out an agenda on black money, corruption and Lokpal.
