The officials of the Uttarakhand Food Department conducted raids at the premises of Baba Ramdev’s Divya Yog ashram. Samples of various ayurvedic medicines were collected by the officials.
Samples of the food items like honey, salt, gram floor, and other things were collected from the ashram during the raid which lasted for about three hours. The raids which were conducted by the officials was criticised by Ramdev who alleged that it was conducted under the pressure of the Centre.
Ramdev said, “This is war between the elite class and common people. We are common people and our war has just begun. These raids are being done at the behest of the Centre”. Ramdev added, “Have they (the government) ever dared to carry out raids on foreign companies? But they have chosen to target me. You can collect samples even truck loads”.
After one of Ramdev’s disciples Balkrishna got bail from the Uttarakhand High Court, Ramdev said, “it is victory of truth over evil”. The yoga guru even alleged that the Centre alleged had misused CBI to torment Balkrishna and fix him in various cases. Ramdev added that their struggle is against the establishment and that they are carrying forward a big movement and are being targeted.
