Indian game developer 7Seas Entertainment on August 17, 2012 said that its game ‘The Dark Man’ is now available for the Android based mobile devices. The users can get the game from Google’s Android marketplace initially and then it will also be offered on Samsung App Store. LG store and all other Android supporting application stores.
The game will also be available at the distributor networks in due course. The managing director of 7Seas Entertainment Limited, Maruti Shanker said that the touch screen genre download has been prices at USD 0.99per download. Shanker added, “Android becoming the world’s leading smartphone platform and garnering a 59 per cent smartphone market worldwide makes mobile games a much more reliable way to grow. To cash in on the popularity of the Android platform, we will launch more games for devices based on the Android platform”.
A release from the game developer said that the online game has been witnessing consistent popularity online including the social networking sites. The game has also reached over 15 million game players so far since its launch a year back.
The game has so far also received many awards including 24 FPS 2011 MAAC International Animation award under the best Game Design category.
