As expected Bollywood movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has created history by making Rs. 100 crores in just five days. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer movie was released on August 15, 2012.
Trade analysts Tweeted, “#EkThaTiger – India *actuals* Sun 23.06 cr. Total: 100.16 cr nett. SUPERB. Fastest 100 cr grosser ever – 5days [Hindi films]. NEW RECORD!” On Saturday the movie reached the Rs. 77 .10 crore mark which in otself was a remarkable growth. On the first day of the release, the movie made Rs. 11.75 crores. In terms of the opening day collections, the Kabir Khan movie left behind Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Agneepath’.
