Laptop manufacturing giant Dell has launched its new Inspiron 14R which has a new design, rounded corners and changeable lids. With the launch of the new 14R the company has attempted to communicate that even the budget laptops can be stylish.
The new series of Dell starts at Rs. 35,000 while the full functional laptop has features like Windows 7 Home Basic a tray loading DVD drive and a full size keyboard. The new product has a much better keyboard with rounded keys and better tactility, better screens and pleasing design.
Reports say that the company is banking on its affordable laptops to cement its popularity among the youth. Apart from being affordable the Inspiron 14 R is a little on the heavier side at 2.29 kgs. The feature that makes the laptop stand out is its sound which gets a real boost from Waves Maxx Audio 3 processing.
The laptop also has modes for movie, music, gaming, with distinct audio output. The 14R comes with Intel’s second and third generation iCore processors. The device also has Dell Stage dock which allows the user to keep the desktop clean by giving one click access to the programmes and folders. With the help of the features the 14R is a good option for those who are eager to buy a budget laptop.
