Indian telecom operator MTS telecom has on August 22, 2012 announced the launch of three of its Android based smartphones. MTS has launched MTag 351, MTS MTag 52 and MTS MTag 281 which have been priced between the range of Rs. 5,499 and Rs. 7,499 and come with unlimited data plans.

Earlier the company had launched the MTS MTag 401. Leonid Musatov, the chief marketing and sales officer at MTS India said, “MTS MTag 351, MTS MTag 352 and MTS MTag 281 are powered by best in class Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 Processor, running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and come bundled with unlimited “All You Can Use” High Speed Data plans and local MTS to MTS Calls.”

People who buy the MTS MTag 351 and MTag 352 will be able to make free local calls to MTS to MTS. The MTag 351 has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and features a 3.5 inch touchscreen and runs on Android 2.3 Gingebread. The smartphone has been powered by advanced 800 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor and is equipped with a 1,300 mAh.

The MTag 352 has been priced at Rs. 6,499 while the MTag 281 has been priced at Rs. 5,499. All the smartphones have been powered by Android 2.3 Gingebread.
