Tablet manufacturer, Wishtel has announced the launch of its new tablet Ira Comet HD for the Indian market. The new 10.1 inch TFT LED multi touch capacitive touchscreen device has been priced at Rs. 9,999 in India.
The tablet runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by 1.2 Ghz processor with 1 GB RAM. The device also has an internal memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB.
The other features of the tablet include 2 mega pixel rear camera, front VGA camera and is also capable of displaying the HD content at 1080p. The Ira is equipped with a powerful 5,500 mAh battery which is said to give the users a browsing time of 5 to 6 hours. Milind Shah the Chief executive officer at Wishtel said, “With the launch of IRA Comet HD, we wish to fulfil consumers demand for innovation and smart technology and aim to offer them an ambitious product at a competitive price.”
The device can also be connected through 3G with the help of an external USB port and Wi Fi. It can also be connected through HDMI cable, wireless headphone, WLAN to USB port cable and card reader. The new Ira tablet will soon be ,made available through all the retail outlets across all the cities.
