Swedish company Teracom, on August 31, 2012 launched three tablet PCs in partnership with the state-run operator MTNL. The high end model of the series has a built in 3G SIM which can be used for making for making phone calls s well.
Mukesh Arora, the Teracom Chairman and Managing director said, “In partnership with MTNL, we are launching three models of ‘Lofty’ tablet with high-end model priced at Rs 10,999 and entry level model is for Rs 3,999”. The other models of the Lofty tablets are enabled with Wi Fi and can support USB dongles. AK Garg the CMD at MTNL said that they have thoroughly tested the tablets and believe that their customers would like it.
