Mobile phone manufacturer, Haier, which is better known for its house hold appliance has revealed a series of Android powered tablets Ahead of the consumer electronics fair IFA at Berlin. The Chinese based company has unveiled two tablets and a smartphone before the IFA.
This is the first time Haier has introduced its mobile devices for the European company. The two tablets are Mini Pad 711 and the Maxi Pad 1012 which run on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. The Mini Pad 711 features a resolution of 1024 X 600 and measures 7 inches.
While the Maxi Pad 1012 boasts a resolution of 1024 X 768 and measures 9.7 inches which has a Cortex 8 processor b/g/n Wi Fi and 8 GB or storage which is expandable with micro SD card. In terms of a smartphone, Haier has unveiled the Haier Phone Pad 5511 which clocks in at 5.3 inches with a 940 X 540 display.
The smartphone also features 4 GB display8 MP camera, and runs on Android the version of which has not yet been specified. Such features of the smartphones have put Haier in the mid range or id performance bracket. Haier is also expected to make two of the major announcements the IFA this year.
