Japan based company Sony has began the phased launch of its latest Bravia LCD TV in all the global regions from the end of the year. The new Bravia TV has a 4K LCD panel which is the largest in the industry’s 84 inch class and incorporates Sony’s 4K X Reality PRO super resolution high picture quality engine.
The company said that the combination seamlessly delivers high resolution large screen picture with high quality powerful sound to provide viewers with immersive experiences unlike anything offered by existing TVs. The new 4K TV by Sony comes with a 4K LCD panel comprising approximately 8.29 megapixels which is four times the resolution of Full HD standard.
The device also incorporates 4K X Reality PRO which is Sony’s super resolution high picture quality engine which is optimised for 4K TV. The engine has the capacity to reproduce a variety of content with different resolutions like HD digital broadcasts of Blu ray discs content in to super crisp high quality images with the help of the 4 K resolution.
The images will be breathtakingly realistic and beautifully clear with a wide 60 degree viewing angle, even if the viewers sit as much as half the distance to the screen compared to when viewing Full HD.
