South Korean company Samsung has announced the release date of details of its Galaxy Y Duos Lite in India. The details have surfaced online and the company’s ‘Young’ series is soon to witness the arrival of an all-new dual SIM member to its current line up.

The device is up for pre-order, but there is no official mention of the pricing of the device. With an advance payment of Rs. 1,000 the prospective buyers can set aside a unit for themselves.

In terms of the specifications the newly unveiled device is no different from the dual SIM Y Duos but the only improvement is its 4 GB in-built storage compared to the 160 MB on the earlier device. The company has also reduced the display size from the 3.14 inch one found on its predecessor to a QVGA 240 X 320p touch screen spanning 2.8 inches wide.

The device has a 832 Mhz processor and is designed with a rounded form factor for a comfortable grip. The Galaxy Y Duos measures 11.9 mm in thickness and comes with micro SD card slot supporting up to 32 GB with 2 MP primary camera. The device has been powered by Gingerbread OS and will be released in India on September 5, 2012.
