Search engine giant Google on September 5, 2012 launched to new features on its Google Maps in India with the help of which the users can access free voice guided GPS navigation on their Android enabled smartphones. The users can also view the live traffic information on their desktop and mobile devices.
The Google Maps service is a internet connected GPS navigation system which provides turn by turn voice guided driving directions as a free feature on the mobile phones which run in the 2.2 version or later. Moreover, the live traffic information has also been made available on Google Maps in India for the major roads in the cities, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
