Engineering giant Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited is planning to recruit 5,000 employees for the posts ranging from plant engineers and management executives over the next five years. In the earlier five years the company had recruited 15,000 employees as it undertook modernization and expansion drive in three phases across its various plants in the country.

R Krishnan, the BHEL corporate director –HR while talking to the reporters said that within next five years they will be conducting about 5,000 employees. But the figure could be changed based on the business ambience prevailing in the country. The current head count for the PSU was 49,300 including 10,500 in Haridwar.
