Apple Inc’s upcoming iPhone which is speculated as the iPhone 5 is getting plenty of attention. Apart from the new iPhone, the older iPhones would also get a software upgrade this fall. The new operating system will have a different mapping service and a built-in bond with Facebook.

The US giant has claimed that the iOS software will sport more than 200 new features but some of them will not be available on all the devices. This will be a free upgrade the iPhones since 2009 and also the iPad models of 2011 and 2012. So it is obvious that the new features will also be on the iPhone 5 which is expected to be unveiled on September 12, 2012.

Some of the highlights of the iOS 6 include am improved mapping programme built in-house. It will also have a voice navigation feature. The social networking lovers can allow the user to log in just once and then the user can be able to post to the social network from a variety of apps.

The new iOS 6 will also have enhancements to SIRI which interprets voice commands and talks back to the user. For the first time the feature is also coming on the iPad. The new software will also not disturb the user at night with calls, notifications and messages.
