Two-wheeler manufacturing giant Hero MotoCorp will be dropping the badge of its joint venture partner Honda from all its existing products. The badge will be removed within this month, two years ahead of its schedule.
After receiving a good response with its new model Maestro which was launched under the Hero brand, the company is also looking forward to doubling its scooter production capacity to 60,000 units per month. The company will also be hiking the production capacity of its 125 cc bikes to 75,000 units a month. The company started to exercise the dropping of the Honda badge from its products starting with its best selling model range Splendor.
