Auto manufacturer Honda Motors Co. on September 27, 2012 said that it has signed a joint venture agreement with Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation. The new joint venture has been established a motor cycle production as well as a sales joint venture company before 2012 ends.
The new venture will help Honda to deliver its products with speed, affordability and low CO2 emissions and will also enhance the customer satisfaction and efficiency in the Bangladesh market where the market is expected to expand further. Honda and BSEC will now be working towards the establishment of the new motorcycle production as well as the sales joint venture company with 70% of financial shareholding by Honda and 30% by BSEC.
