Japanese-based auto company Nissan Motors launched its much-awaited sedan Latio on October 5, 2012. The new vehicle has been designed as a global compact sedan and is already available in overseas markets including China, the United States and Thailand. Until now it has sold more than 500,000 units in global markets where it has been previously launched. The Latio has environmentally friendly features, boasting a high quality exterior and a roomy, comfortable interior space, which will service a wide range of compact sedan customers.

The front styling of the new car includes large headlights and a grille, which adds to the Latios strong presence and its premium design feel. The vehicle has a spacious cabin with great ride comfort.

Rear seat passengers enjoy enhanced knee room and a wide field of vision. The Latio has been equipped with a HR12DE engine which will help in delivering 22.6 km/L. The engine of the vehicle also has an Iding stop system with XTRONIC CVT installed. This new engine delivers excellent acceleration performance for city limits driving.

High fuel efficiency is also an advantage of the Latio due to a weight reduction of about 70 Kgs compared to its earlier model, coupled with a new highly aerodynamic body.  The Latio has been priced between 1,388,100 yen and 1,698,900 yen.
