The Deep Water Horizon oil rig that was on fire from Tuesday is unbelievably the most advanced state of the art oil drilling platforms in the world. On Tuesday, the fifth generator of the rig exploded and injured 17 and 11 are gone missing.
The rescue team resumed its search on Thursday morning for the missing survivors. The semi submersible rig is posted 41 miles of the coast of Louisiana. Any perfect explanation has not yet come up sadly, but when asked they say that it was pressure that was building up and could not be released.
The coast guard and the Mineral Management Service are getting ready to investigate the incident the survivors have raised the question of safety towards the authorities.
