Indian mobile phone manufacturer Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited, which operates its telecom services under the MTS brand has announced the launch of its new phone ‘MTag 353’ for the Indian market on October 9, 2012. The recent launch is a part of the company’s strategy to offer a greater choice of CDMA phones.
The new smartphone has been announced after the launch of earlier phones by MTS such as the MTag 351, MTag 352, MTag 281 and Samsung Galaxy Y. The latest addition to the MTS Smartphone range runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The smartphone also comes with an aggressive Voice and Data plan. Leonid Musatov, the chief marketing and sales officer MTS India said, “MTS MTag 353 is yet another class leading and one of the most stylish Smartphone from MTS. The Smartphone is powered by the best in class Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. Aimed at the on the move, tech savvy youth, it comes bundled with exciting High Speed Data and Voice plans.” The new 353 is one of the slimmest smartphones in its range.
In terms of processing power, the phone is powered by a 800 Mhz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1500 mAh battery. According to our sources, the device has been priced at Rs. 5,999 making it one of the more affordable smartphones in its range.
